A t the helm of Belly2Abs is Adriana, the globetrotting instructor and inspirational poetess. After completing teaching stints in Europe and the Caribbean, the twenty-plus-year dancing dynamo founded Belly2Abs to help others uncover their own abilities.
Adriana's roles are fascinating; Adriana published her first book "A Tangled Heart" in 2003, winning the Editors Choice Award for Poetry in 2004, Adriana puplished her second book "I Chose to be Happy, A journey. A decision. A lifestyle" in 2010. In addition to being the founder of the first bellydance school of Ireland she has also traveled intesively reaching out to other women, inducing them with the passion for bellydance, and empowering women all over the world.
She opened her first wellness studio in Curacao 2003, and in Ireland 2006. Adriana has traveled and lived in many places in the world, transmitting her love for the dance. A nais Huma has been teaching the art of BELLY DANCING for the past 9 years. She began her dancing career at the Mideastern Dance Exchange with the legendary master teacher, Tamalyn Dallal, continued to study with Bellydance Superstar, Bozenka, and then joined the MEDE Performing Company for two years. Her teaching style is upbeat, innovative, and thorough while providing tips to polish one’s technique. She enjoys introducing fusions like Belly Salsa, Arabeton, and Tribal to make class HIP-notic! Anais has studied under Master teachers such as Raquia Hassan, Rachel Brice, and renowned choreographer, Yousry Sharif.
Bee is an elementary school teacher who was introduced to Pole Fitness in 2005. She fell in love with the program and decided to complete the training to become an instructor in early 2006. She has been instructing and training women ever since. She currently provides private studio and home-based pole fitness lessons for women, as well as doing a variety of pole parties for women ready to celebrate birthdays, weddings, divorces, or anything they desire! For women seeking to spice up their life as well as empower themselves through the self efficacy of being fit and sexy simultaneously, pole fitness by Bee is the biggest step in that direction! She has collaborated with Adriana Echeverri to assist with an innovative and empowering fitness program incorporating belly dancing and pole fitness that has received rave reviews from clients. The collaboration is a successful effort to motivate and stimulate new, innovative and energetic methods to being fit. Bee is also a spoken word artist, known to the poetry community as Honeybee. She enjoys writing and performing a wide variety of spoken word poetry.
Bela’s captivating and artistic performances are a masterful blending of the classical dance genres and Oriental dance genres. Bela’s creative ability to express the emotional nuances of this art is what won her First Place for the “Rising Star” category at the 2008 Miami Bellydance Convention, where she will perform again this year. Bela began training at an early age with Classical Ballet, Spanish Dances, Salsa, and Cuban Dance and was accepted into Alvin Ailey School’s Summer Intensive Program in 2003. She studied for several years with Martha Mahr. Bela also studied Spanish Dance for over ten years with world-renown instructors including Rosita Segovia, Rosa Mercedes, Cristina Masdueo, Ada Linares, and Clarita Filgueiras, and ballet and Cuban dance with Elena del Cueto.
She performed in the Thomas Armour Youth Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker in 2002, the Harlem Ballet Theatre’s production of Firebird in 2003 and in Magic Kingdom and Islands of Adventure theme parks in Orlando, Florida. From there she continued to participate in several Ballet and Modern dance performances at the University of Miami with professors Gilberto Almaguer and Katherine Londono. Bela has studied belly dance with many internationally recognized performers, and performed as a member of the Dreams Bellydance Company appearing in many large-scale theatre productions, for thier developing her skills as a seasoned artist and choreographer.

J ustice has been teaching Kickboxing, Cardio Kickboxing and Self Defense for over 10 years. Primarily teaching on college campuses, through private gyms and Personal Training, he has spent the greater part of his career working with women. Personalizing his style for women’s physique, he has focused on the art of fitness through kickboxing and self-defense classes that have been described as brilliant and a lifesaver. Consolidating the movement used typically for testosterone-enriched brawls, his classes are simple and rhythmic for easier learning through repetition and careful instruction. After personal inspection, students are allowed to learn their own style of training all while gauging their performance with maximum cardio and strengthening compatibility.
In Justice’s Kickboxing/cardio Kickboxing and self-defense class you will learn how to manage the strength and stamina you have in order to garner the necessary skills to feel comfortable in most situations. Through repetition and skill-based routines, you will master the many hand and foot strikes that accompany the art of kickboxing. These strikes will later be placed within combinations that will prove to be a strong body toner and cardio routine. With time and effort most students will have the ability to manage day-to-day activities with more ease than before.

N ur Ayubi was born in Medellin Colombia. With her Middle Eastern heritage she began her bellydance training at the Mideastern Dance Exchange under the direction of the talented Tamalyn Dallal. Her main teachers include Tamalyn Dallal, Bozenka, Maria Jamal, Irene, Yousry Sharif, Francesca and founder of Belly2Abs, Adriana Echeverri.
Nur was fascinated by the art of bellydance from a very early age but started her extensive dance in the year 2000. Recently she added flamenco and tango to her education, which in combination with her salsa dance training helps her take the this art form to a present-day level while preserving the character of her traditional bellydance schooling.
She is a true believer of the mission statement of Belly2abs, of empower and inspire women to help them achieve a higher state of happiness and well being through dance.
Z iZi Zabaneh is of Lebanese decent, born in Bogota, Colombia. A performer, instructor, choreographer and Dance Photographer. She has been dancing since her early teens. Trained in Flamenco, Latin and Middle Eastern dance. She has study with some of the most outstanding professionals in the field of dance. These include Dina (Egyptian superstar), Raqia Hassan, Randa Kamal, Tamalyn Dallal, Alexandra King , Clarita Filgueiras (Founder and Director of Flamenco Puro in Miami, Fl.), Cristo from Los Vivancos, Belen Maya and Antonio Granjero of Jerez, two of Spain's best Flamenco dancers and many more.
ZiZi has traveled to Dubai, Italy, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo and all over the US. where she has taught and or performed. Here in Miami she has performed in many places such as the Jackie Gleason Theater of the Performing Arts, Lincoln Theater, Caleb Auditorium, Manuel Artime Theater, Dade County Auditorium, Florida International University, Miami Dade Community College Wolfson and Kendall Campus, University of Miami, Miami Sunset Place, Miami International Mall, and Aventura Mall. She has performed for the United Way, The grand opening of the Chest Museum in Miami, Taste of the Beach in South Beach, Nikki's Beach Club, Washington Mutual, Orientalia, Arts and Letters, Riviera Country Club in Coral Gables, The Kidney Foundation of South Florida, Strawberry Folk Festival in Homestead, Florida, Miami Children's Diamond Ball, and she performed for Egyptian Superstars Dina, Raqia Hassan and Randa Kamal in Miami.
As a professional dancer, she decided to combine dance and photography, her two biggest passions. Her photographs have appeared in numerous publications throughout the globe. ZiZi has earned recognition and respect in the photography field, her first photography exhibit "Capturing Movement Forever" was in April of 2006. Since then she has become one of the most sought after dance photographers. Over 500 people attended the opening night of her last photography "Dancers of the Ocean" on March 5th, 2010. She is the organizer of Shoot Miami, a photography group with over 1,500 members. The group provides networking opportunities for professional photographers, semi-professional and enthusiasts in Miami, Florida. As a professional dancer with over 17 years of experience, she knows how to captures the beauty of movement that comes from each and every dancer.
